Devour Design

Museum attendance was largely wealthy, older, and design-savvy upper east siders. But to stay top-of-mind in the demanding design world, drawing a younger crowd was imperative.

We proposed making the invaluable objects in the collection into objects you simply had to have.

Making this was a mammoth task we worked with museum handlers and curators to learn each piece story and how to handle it on set. One of my favorite shoots yet.

2016 was the year our campaigns went live, the museum enjoyed a 44.8% spike in visitors compared to the year before.

DESIGN ANSWERS

Why go to a design museum and not the Met, MoMA or Whitney?

Solutions of all kinds. From the beautiful to the practical and every answer in between.

Design TriEnnial

Cooper Hewitt is unique in the New York museum scene. It sees design as a discipline ranging from ornate jewelry, functional furniture to environmental solutions to our worlds changing landscape.

We were hearing from New Yorkers that were confused about what there was to see at a “design museum?”

So we took an opportunity to show the breadth of their design interests in the triennial exhibition.
